The Tailor

Oliver Hubbard of Hubbard Bespoke Tailoring in Eastbourne made his first pair of shorts when he was 6 years old. Like his father, Oliver went on to train at Kilgour, French & Stanbury on Savile Row.

We are delighted to work with Hubbard Bespoke Tailoring who make all our jackets by hand in Eastbourne. 

Of our jacket Oliver says: “It was an interesting journey developing the initial idea from a few sketches into the final product. Perhaps the most important aspect was the development of the pattern and achieving balance so the garment hangs correctly. These days, as more people go to the gym, there are changes in standard figure balances. This requires more front balance to compensate for the changes we are seeing”.
